Skiing

Whistler and Blackcomb mountains dominate the resort, with an elevation of 2,440 meters (8,000 feet) and 2,450 meters (8,038 feet), respectively. Notable pistes include the infamous Blackcomb Glacier and the steep runs of Whistler, with efficient lifts like the Peak 2 Peak Gondola connecting both mountains.

 By Air

The nearest airport to Whistler Blackcomb is Vancouver International, 128 minutes drive away.

Reaching Whistler Blackcomb is straightforward via Vancouver International Airport, approximately 2 hours away by car. The scenic Sea-to-Sky Highway (Highway 99) is the recommended route, offering stunning views along the way.

When is Whistler Blackcomb open?

We don't currently have confirmed season dates, but hope to soon.

Usual opening is late November, and usual closing is Late April (Glacier skiing continues in to May and early June and is then usually available again in July.).
