North Star Cottage has wooden interiors, a seating area and an outdoor patio. The cottages have a bathroom with shower, hairdryer and free toiletries.

Horse riding is possible in Skálakot, a 10-minute drive away. The Skógafoss Waterfall is a 10-minute drive away. Seljavellir Public Swimming Pool is a 20-minute drive from the cottages.
