With its Japanese garden, multi-course meals and tatami-and-wood decor, Ise Todaya Ryoan offers traditional accommodation a 15-minute walk from Ise Jingu Shrine. Rooms have a private bathroom and free wired internet.
The air-conditioned Japanese-style guestrooms at Ryoan Ise Todaya feature futon bedding and tatami (woven-straw) floors. The simple elegance of the decoration inspires a peaceful mood; the provided yukata robe helps guests relax.
Authentic Japanese multi-course (kaiseki) meals are served for breakfast and dinner, and can be eaten at the Ryotei Dining Room or in guests’ rooms. Each features traditional specialities made from fresh local ingredients.
The ryokan is a 7-minute walk from JR Iseshi Train Station. Futami ga Ura, with the “Wedded Rocks,” is a 40-minute train ride away.
