Galtür
Galtür is a charming ski resort in Austria, known for its family-friendly atmosphere and breathtaking alpine scenery. With a variety of runs and excellent snow conditions, it caters to all levels of skiers and snowboarders.
Summary
Nestled in the Paznaun Valley, Galtür offers a unique blend of traditional Tyrolean culture and modern skiing facilities. The resort features over 42 kilometers of slopes, ideal for both beginners and seasoned athletes alike.
The ski area of Galtür is in the Austrian Alps at an altitude of 1,600m, with 40km of marked runs.
Galtür is part of the Silvretta ski area with access to 145 marked pistes, served by a total of 101 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Galtür itself (40km of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Silvretta ski resorts of Ischgl and Kappl.
The ski resort itself is at 1,600m, so skiing or boarding back to the resort is usually possible. With ski lifts as high as 2,300m, snow cover is generally reliable.

How to get there
By Air
The nearest airport to Galtür is Innsbruck Airport, 80 minutes drive away.
St. Gallen-Altenrhein, Friedrichshafen, Memmingen, Bolzano, Zurich and Munich airports are all within three hours drive.
Galtür is accessible via Innsbruck Airport, approximately 100 km away, with convenient bus services running to the resort. The scenic drive through the Alps offers stunning views and is popular among travelers.
