Skiing

The resort is situated on the majestic Hochkönig massif, featuring elevations reaching 1,800 meters. Notable ski areas include the Königstour, with iconic pistes like the blue-marked 'Mühlbach' and the challenging 'Aberg,' serviced by lifts such as the 8-seater Aberg Gondola and the Königslift.

 By Air

The nearest airport to Hinterthal is Salzburg, 80 minutes drive away.

Linz, Ljubljana, Innsbruck Airport, Klagenfurt, Graz and Munich airports are all within three hours drive.

Hinterthal is conveniently accessed via major airports in Salzburg and Innsbruck, with direct transfer services available. The drive from Salzburg takes about an hour, providing a scenic route through the stunning alpine landscape.
