Kaunertal features the impressive Kaunertaler Glacier, reaching elevations of up to 3,108 meters. With over 30 kilometers of pistes, notable runs include the challenging 3.5 km long 'Schwarze Schneid' and the family-friendly 'Mittelstation,' serviced by modern lifts like the Karlesjochbahn and the Fendels lift.
Kaunertal offers good sking, particularly, for Intermediate skiers.

How to get there
By Air
The nearest airport to Kaunertal is Innsbruck Airport, 70 minutes drive away.
St. Gallen-Altenrhein, Friedrichshafen, Memmingen, Bolzano, Munich, Salzburg and Zurich airports are all within three hours drive.
Kaunertal is easily accessible via Innsbruck Airport, approximately 90 kilometers away. The best routes involve taking the A12 motorway and then following the signs to the Kaunertal Valley.
