Skiing

The resort spans the slopes of the Kanzelwand and Fellhorn mountains, reaching elevations of up to 2,224 meters. Notable pistes include the Kanzelwandpiste and the FIS-run on Fellhorn, with efficient lifts like the Kanzelwandbahn and Fellhornbahn providing easy access to the terrain.

There are a variety of pistes to suit all levels of skier ability, from Beginner to Expert.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Kleinwalsertal is Memmingen, 66 minutes drive away.

St. Gallen-Altenrhein, Friedrichshafen, Innsbruck Airport, Zurich, Munich and Stuttgart airports are all within three hours drive.

Memmingen is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

Kleinwalsertal is easily accessible via the nearest major airports in Friedrichshafen and Memmingen. From there, you can reach the resort by car or public transport, with well-marked routes guiding you through the scenic Austrian landscape.

The 32 ski lifts are able to uplift 25,000 skiers and snowboarders every hour.

Snow-making is available, on 5km of ski runs, with 19 snow cannons.

Season Dates

When is Kleinwalsertal open?

We don't currently have confirmed season dates, but hope to soon.

Usual opening is early December, and usual closing is Mid April (Can continue skiing in to early May on nearby Zugspitz.).
