Skiing

The ski area of Mallnitz is centered around the Ankogel mountain, reaching an elevation of 3,263 meters. Key pistes include the wide, gentle slopes of the Mölltal Glacier, as well as thrilling runs from the top of the Ankogel, accessed by the Ankogelbahn and other lifts, ensuring a variety of terrain for different abilities.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Mallnitz is Klagenfurt, 90 minutes drive away.

Ljubljana, Salzburg, Graz, Trieste and Munich airports are all within three hours drive.

Reaching Mallnitz is straightforward, with the nearest major airport being Salzburg, approximately 120 km away. From there, travelers can take a scenic train ride to Mallnitz, enjoying the beautiful alpine landscape along the way.
