The ski area of Waidring is in the Austrian Alps at an altitude of 780m, with 27km of marked runs.

Waidring is part of the Kitzbüheler Alpen ski area with access to 344 marked pistes, served by a total of 197 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Waidring itself (27km of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Kitzbüheler Alpen ski resorts of Kirchberg in Tirol and Kirchdorf.

Skiing

Waidring is situated at the foot of the Steinplatte mountain and reaches an elevation of 1,900 meters. Key ski areas include the Steinplatte with notable pistes such as the long, scenic blue runs and the challenging red pistes. Lifts like the 8-person gondola and various chairlifts ensure easy access to the slopes.

Waidring offers good sking, particularly, for Intermediate and Beginner skiers.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Waidring is Salzburg, 52 minutes drive away.

Innsbruck Airport, Munich, Linz, Graz, Bolzano, Vienna and Memmingen airports are all within three hours drive.

Salzburg is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

Waidring is easily accessible from major airports such as Innsbruck and Salzburg. The resort is about a 1.5-hour drive from both cities, providing convenient access to this alpine retreat.
