Skiing

Vitosha Mountain features several ski areas, including Aleko and Zlatnite Mostove, with a total skiable area of around 40 kilometers. The highest point reaches 2,290 meters, and notable pistes include the Black and the Red runs, serviced by lifts like the Aleko chairlift and the Vitosha Express.

Vitosha offers good sking, particularly, for Intermediate and Beginner skiers.

Snowboarding

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Vitosha is Sofia, 53 minutes drive away.

Plovdiv and Skopje airports are all within three hours drive.

Sofia is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

Traveling to Vitosha is convenient, as it's located just 10 kilometers from Sofia. Visitors can reach the resort by car via the E80 highway or use public transport options from the city center.

When is Vitosha open?

We don't currently have confirmed season dates, but hope to soon.

Usual opening is early December, and usual closing is Mid April.

NOTE:- Ski area, lift and piste opening is subject to Current Snow Conditions.

Aprés Ski

After a day on the slopes, Vitosha offers a range of après-ski options, including the popular Happy Bar and the cozy Vitosha Lounge. Dining options abound, with local Bulgarian cuisine available at several restaurants.
