Espace San Bernardo is a unique ski area that bridges Italy and France, providing access to over 150 kilometers of slopes. With a mix of challenging runs and gentle pistes, it's suitable for families and experienced skiers alike.

The ski area of Espace San Bernardo comprises the ski slopes of La Thuile and La Rosière.

The ski area includes 2 Ski Resorts with a combined total of 156km of downhill skiing, with 82 marked pistes, served by a total of 38 ski lifts. The appropriate Lift Pass allows you to ski or snowboard in either of the ski areas of La Rosière and La Thuile.

With ski lifts as high as 2,800m, skiing and snowboarding is assured throughout the season.

Skiing

The resort is situated in the Montvalezan area, featuring peaks that reach up to 2,800 meters. Notable ski areas include La Rosière and La Thuile, with key lifts like the Les Forts and the Montvalezan gondola providing access to a variety of pistes such as the famous 'Le Cret' and 'La Thuile'.

There are a variety of pistes to suit all levels of skier ability, from Beginner to Expert.

Snowboarding

Snowboarders will appreciate the terrain parks at La Rosière, which include features suitable for all skill levels. The resort offers well-groomed runs and off-piste opportunities for adventurous riders.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Espace San Bernardo is Brive, 64 minutes drive away.

Geneva, Chambery, Sion, Bergerac, Turin Caselle, Rodez, Grenoble, Annecy, Carcassonne, Limoges, Milan Malpensa, Milan Linate, Lourdes, Turin Cuneo, Bergamo and Genoa airports are all within three hours drive.

Brive is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

Espace San Bernardo is accessible via major airports in both Italy and France. The closest are Chambery Airport, approximately 120 km away, and Geneva Airport, about 190 km from the resort, with good road connections to the ski area.

When is Espace San Bernardo open?

We don't currently have confirmed season dates, but hope to soon.

Usual opening is mid December, and usual closing is Late April.

Aprés Ski

After a day on the slopes, enjoy the lively après-ski scene at bars like Le Genepy and La Taverne. For dining, La Table de L'Ours offers a cozy atmosphere with hearty meals, while the nightclub Le Petit Danois keeps the party going into the night.
