Skiing

The Monts Jura ski area boasts peaks reaching up to 1,690 meters, providing excellent elevation for snow coverage. Notable pistes include the Les Dappes and Le Crêt de la Neige, complemented by efficient lifts like the Télécorde and the La Catheline gondola.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Monts Jura is Dole–Jura, 65 minutes drive away.

Annecy, Lyon St-Exupéry, Lyon Bron, Chambery, Sion, Geneva, Berne, Grenoble and Basel airports are all within three hours drive.

Dole–Jura is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

Monts Jura is easily accessible via major routes, with the nearest airports being Geneva and Lyon. From Geneva, take the A40 motorway to reach the resort in approximately an hour.

Ski Lift Capacity

The 31 ski lifts are able to uplift 19,500 skiers and snowboarders every hour.

Snow Making

Snow-making is available, on 6km of ski runs, with 65 snow cannons.

Season Dates

When is Monts Jura open?

We don't currently have confirmed season dates, but hope to soon.

Usual opening is mid December, and usual closing is Late March.

NOTE:- Ski area, lift and piste opening is subject to Current Snow Conditions.

Aprés Ski

After a day on the slopes, unwind at local favorites like Le Refuge and La Petite Montagne, where you can enjoy a lively atmosphere with drinks and local cuisine. For night owls, the nearby clubs offer a fun nightlife scene.
