Skiing

Oppdal features the impressive Dovrefjell mountains, with elevations reaching up to 1,850 meters. The ski area includes notable pistes such as the long runs from Gråhø, and the lift system includes the efficient Oppdal Gondola and several chairlifts that ensure quick access to the slopes.

Oppdal offers good sking, particularly, for Intermediate skiers.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Oppdal is Trondheim, 129 minutes drive away.

Kvernberget and Bergen airports are all within three hours drive.

Oppdal is accessible via road and rail, with the nearest major airport being Trondheim Airport, about 2 hours away by car. Well-connected train services also run to Oppdal, making it easy to reach this fantastic ski destination.

Usual opening is mid November, and usual closing is Late April.
