Skiing

The resort encompasses the mountains of Glas Maol, Meall Odhar, and Creag Leacach, with a ski area covering 2,000 acres and an elevation of 1,070 meters. Notable pistes include the long runs of the 'Broadway' and the challenging 'Black Spout', with multiple lifts ensuring efficient access to all areas.

There are a variety of pistes to suit all levels of skier ability, from Beginner to Expert.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Glenshee is Edinburgh, 96 minutes drive away.

Inverness, Glasgow, Aberdeen and Prestwick airports are all within three hours drive.

Glenshee is accessible by car, located approximately 90 minutes from both Edinburgh and Glasgow. The A93 road leads directly to the resort, making it an easy trip for those traveling from major cities.

The 21 ski lifts are able to uplift 18,509 skiers and snowboarders every hour.

Snow-making is available, on 20km of ski runs, with 6 snow cannons.

Season Dates

When is Glenshee open?

We don't currently have confirmed season dates, but hope to soon.

Usual opening is late November (Fully weather dependent - sometimes opens in November), and usual closing is Late April.

NOTE:- Ski area, lift and piste opening is subject to Current Snow Conditions.
