Skiing

Mount Norquay features a vertical drop of 1,650 feet and offers approximately 190 acres of skiable terrain. Notable pistes include the challenging 'Wild West' and the family-friendly 'Bunny Hill,' with lifts such as the Cascade and the North American providing access to the slopes.

There are a variety of pistes to suit all levels of skier ability, from Beginner to Expert.

Snowboarding

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Banff Mount Norquay is Calgary International, 101 minutes drive away.

To reach Banff Mount Norquay, fly into Calgary International Airport (YYC), approximately 90 minutes away. From Calgary, take the Trans-Canada Highway (Hwy 1) west to Banff, following the signs to the resort.

When is Banff Mount Norquay open?

We don't currently have confirmed season dates, but hope to soon.

Usual opening is late November (Usually open weekends in November then fully open from December), and usual closing is Late April.

NOTE:- Ski area, lift and piste opening is subject to Current Snow Conditions.

Aprés Ski

After a day on the slopes, visitors can unwind at the historic 'The Cliffhouse Bistro' or enjoy drinks at 'The Lone Pine' bar. For nightlife, check out 'The Banff Ave Brewing Co.' for a relaxed atmosphere.
