Skiing

Shames Mountain features over 1,200 acres of skiable terrain, with an elevation of 1,800 meters. Notable pistes include the popular 'Ridge Run' and 'Bowl', while the 'Shames Chair' and 'Magic Carpet' lifts provide access to a range of slopes suitable for all abilities.

Snowboarding

How to get there

To reach Shames Mountain, fly into Smithers Regional Airport, located about 30 minutes away. From there, a short drive via Highway 16 will lead you directly to the resort.

When is Shames Mountain open?

Usual opening is mid December.
