Skiing

Black Mountain boasts over 1,000 acres of skiable terrain, with an elevation reaching 3,500 feet. Notable pistes include the challenging Black Diamond run and the popular Blue Cruiser, serviced by lifts such as the Summit Express and the Valley Chair.

Black Mountain offers good sking, particularly, for Expert and Intermediate skiers.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Black Mountain is Asheville, 39 minutes drive away.

Greenville, Tri-Cities Regional, Charlotte Douglas, Cherry Capital and Knoxville airports are all within three hours drive.

Asheville is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

To reach Black Mountain, fly into major airports like Denver International Airport or Salt Lake City International Airport. From there, a scenic drive or shuttle service will take you directly to the resort.
