Skiing

Indianhead Mountain has a total skiable area of 200 acres, featuring a mix of groomed trails and natural terrain. Key lifts include the Indianhead Express and the Black River Express, leading to notable pistes like the challenging Crystal Chaser and the family-friendly Kelsey’s Run.

Indianhead offers good sking, particularly, for Intermediate skiers.

Snowboarding

Snowboarders will find excitement at Indianhead with the terrain park known as 'The Ridge,' which features jumps, rails, and a halfpipe. The park caters to various skill levels, making it a favorite among the local snowboard community.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Indianhead is Madison, 127 minutes drive away.

Chippewa Valley, Ontario, Central Wisconsin and John Wayne airports are all within three hours drive.

To reach Indianhead, most visitors fly into the nearest major airport, which is Gogebic-Iron County Airport (IWD) in Ironwood, Wisconsin. From there, it's a scenic 30-minute drive to the resort via US-2.
