Skiing

Moonlight Basin features an elevation of 7,200 feet, with over 4,000 vertical feet of skiing. Notable ski areas include the Six Shooter and the Lone Peak, offering runs like the popular Buck's Run and the exhilarating Headwaters. The Swift Current lift and the Moonlight Lodge lift provide easy access to a variety of terrains, catering to all skill levels.

There are a variety of pistes to suit all levels of skier ability, from Beginner to Expert.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Moonlight Basin is Bozeman Yellowstone, 70 minutes drive away.

Getting to Moonlight Basin is convenient, with the nearest major airport being Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport, just about 75 miles away. Follow US-191 N for a scenic drive that takes you directly to the resort.

When is Moonlight Basin open?

We don't currently have confirmed season dates, but hope to soon.

Usual opening is late November, and usual closing is Early April.

NOTE:- Ski area, lift and piste opening is subject to Current Snow Conditions.

Aprés Ski

After a day on the slopes, unwind at the Vista Bar or the Cabin Bar for a cozy atmosphere and great drinks. For dining, the Moonlight Basin Lodge offers delicious meals with stunning mountain views.
