Skiing

The mountain at Mount Bachelor features pristine snow conditions and a variety of ski areas, including the famous West Village and the powder-filled Northwest. Notable pistes include the groomed runs of Sunshine and the challenging steeps of the Outback, with lifts such as the Pine Marten and Sunrise serving the diverse terrain.

Mount Bachelor offers good sking, particularly, for Expert and Intermediate skiers.

Snowboarding

How to get there

To reach Mount Bachelor, fly into the Redmond Municipal Airport (RDM), which is about 22 miles away. From there, a scenic drive along US-97 and Cascade Lakes Highway leads directly to the resort.

Usual opening is late November, and usual closing is Late May.
