Skiing
Snowbasin features three main areas: Allen Peak, Strawberry, and the Needles. With over 100 trails, notable pistes include the famous John Paul and the challenging Grizzly, serviced by the high-speed John Paul Express and Needles Gondola.
Snowbasin offers good sking, particularly, for Expert and Intermediate skiers.

How to get there
By Air
The nearest airport to Snowbasin is Salt Lake City, 62 minutes drive away.
Provo airport is also within three hours drive.
Salt Lake City is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.
Snowbasin is conveniently accessible via Salt Lake City International Airport, just a 45-minute drive away. The main routes include I-15 and US-89, leading you directly to the resort.

When is Snowbasin open?
We don't currently have confirmed season dates, but hope to soon.
Usual opening is late November, and usual closing is Mid April.
