Skiing
Wintergreen boasts three main ski areas: The Highlands, The Main Face, and The Terrain Park, offering a diverse range of runs. Notable pistes include the popular 'The Plunge' and 'The Drop,' serviced by lifts such as the Highlands Express and the Blue Ridge Express.

How to get there
By Air
The nearest airport to Wintergreen is Charlottesville-Albemarle, 51 minutes drive away.
Shenandoah, Roanoke, Lewisburg, Washington Dulles and Raleigh airports are all within three hours drive.
Charlottesville-Albemarle and Shenandoah are just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.
Traveling to Wintergreen is convenient, with the closest major airports being Charlottesville-Albemarle Airport (CHO) and Richmond International Airport (RIC). The resort is easily accessible by car via US-29 and I-64, making for a smooth journey.
