Skiing

Rusutsu boasts three mountains: West Mountain, East Mountain, and Mt. Isola, with elevations reaching up to 1,088 meters. Notable pistes include the long runs of 'The North Face' and the 'Kagura' lift, providing access to vast powder fields and varied terrain.

There are a variety of pistes to suit all levels of skier ability, from Beginner to Expert.

Snowboarding

Snowboarders will find excellent terrain parks at Rusutsu, including the 'West Mountain Park' featuring jumps and rails suitable for various skill levels. The park provides a fun environment for both beginners and seasoned riders.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Rusutsu is New Chitose, 142 minutes drive away.

To reach Rusutsu, fly into New Chitose Airport, located about 90 minutes away by car. Shuttle services and rental cars are available for a convenient transfer to the resort.

Usual opening is late November, and usual closing is Early April.

Aprés Ski

After a day on the slopes, enjoy après-ski at bars like 'The Pub' or dine at 'Buffet Restaurant', which offers a range of local and international dishes. The relaxed atmosphere makes for a perfect end to a day of skiing.
