The ski area of Niseko comprises the ski slopes of 4 ski areas, including Niseko Grand Hirafu, Niseko Hanazono and Niseko Village/Higashiyama.
The ski area includes 4 Ski Resorts with a combined total of 34 marked pistes, served by a total of 20 ski lifts. The appropriate Lift Pass allows you to ski or snowboard in any of the ski areas of Niseko Annupuri, Niseko Grand Hirafu, Niseko Hanazono and Niseko Village/Higashiyama.
The skiing is at relatively low altitude, so snow cover can be variable.

Skiing
The mountains of Niseko feature diverse terrain suitable for all abilities, with key ski areas including Grand Hirafu and Niseko Village. Notable pistes include the famous Hirafu's 'Miharashi' run and the challenging 'The Peak' at Annupuri, serviced by lifts such as the Hirafu Gondola and the Ace Family Quad, accommodating skiers and snowboarders alike.

How to get there
By Air
The nearest airport to Niseko is New Chitose, 127 minutes drive away.
To reach Niseko, fly into New Chitose Airport (CTS), located approximately 100 km away. From there, you can take a bus or hire a car, with transfers available to the resort for a convenient journey.

Usual opening is late November, and usual closing is Early May.
