Skiing

The resort boasts over 400 hectares of skiable terrain, with an elevation reaching 1,649 meters. Key lifts include the Coronet Express and the Meadows Express, while notable pistes include the popular M1 and the wide-open slopes of the beginners' area.

There are a variety of pistes to suit all levels of skier ability, from Beginner to Expert.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Coronet Peak is Queenstown, 24 minutes drive away.

Wanaka and Invercargill airports are all within three hours drive.

Queenstown and Wanaka are just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

Coronet Peak is easily accessible from Queenstown, located just a 20-minute drive away. The resort is well-served by major roads, making it convenient for visitors traveling from the region.

When is Coronet Peak open?

We don't currently have confirmed season dates, but hope to soon.

Usual opening is Early June, and usual closing is Early October.
