Skiing

Treble Cone features over 500 hectares of skiable terrain with an elevation reaching 2,100 meters. Notable pistes include the popular Home Basin and the challenging Saddle Basin, with lifts such as the High-Speed Quad and the Magic Carpet enhancing accessibility.

There are a variety of pistes to suit all levels of skier ability, from Beginner to Expert.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Treble Cone is Wanaka, 39 minutes drive away.

Queenstown airport is also within three hours drive.

Wanaka is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

To reach Treble Cone, fly into Queenstown Airport, approximately a one-hour drive away. From there, a scenic drive along Lake Wakatipu leads you to Wanaka, where the resort is located.

Ski Lift Capacity

The four ski lifts are able to uplift 4,500 skiers and snowboarders every hour.

Snow Making

Snow-making is available, with 30 snow cannons.

Season Dates

When is Treble Cone open?

We don't currently have confirmed season dates, but hope to soon.

Usual opening is Late June, and usual closing is Late September.

NOTE:- Ski area, lift and piste opening is subject to Current Snow Conditions.
