Fügen is part of the Hochzillertal-Hochfügen ski area with access to 49 marked pistes, served by a total of 46 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Fügen itself (155km of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Hochzillertal-Hochfügen ski resorts of Aschau im Zillertal, Hochfügen and Kaltenbach.

With ski lifts as high as 2,410m, snow cover is generally reliable.

Skiing

The ski area of Fügen features over 60 kilometers of slopes, with elevations ranging from 540 to 2,500 meters. Notable pistes include the blue run from Spieljoch and the challenging red runs from the top of the Hochfügen area, accessed by lifts such as the Spieljochbahn and the Zillertal Shuttle.

Fügen offers good sking, particularly, for Intermediate and Beginner skiers.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Fügen is Innsbruck Airport, 36 minutes drive away.

Munich, Salzburg, Bolzano, St. Gallen-Altenrhein, Memmingen, Linz and Friedrichshafen airports are all within three hours drive.

Innsbruck Airport is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

Fügen is easily accessible via the A12 motorway, with the nearest major city being Innsbruck, approximately 50 kilometers away. Regular train services also connect to the nearby town of Jenbach.

Usual opening is early December, and usual closing is Late April.
