The ski area of Klippitztörl is in the Austrian Alps at an altitude of 1,550m, with 25km of marked runs.

Klippitztörl is part of the Lavanttal ski area with access to 8 marked pistes, served by a total of 24 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Klippitztörl itself (25km of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Lavanttal ski resorts of Hebalm, Koralpe and Weinebene.

The ski resort itself is at 1,550m, so skiing or boarding back to the resort is usually possible.

The Klippitztörl ski area boasts an elevation of 1,400 meters with slopes extending across 30 km. Notable pistes include the long red run 'Kärntner', while the Klippitz lift system ensures easy access and minimal waiting times.

Klippitztörl offers good sking, particularly, for Intermediate and Beginner skiers.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Klippitztörl is Klagenfurt, 52 minutes drive away.

Graz, Ljubljana, Vienna, Linz and Trieste airports are all within three hours drive.

Graz and Klagenfurt are just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

Reaching Klippitztörl is straightforward, with the nearest major airports being Graz and Klagenfurt. From there, expect a scenic drive through the mountains, taking approximately an hour to reach the resort.
