Nestled in the Eastern Alps, Koralpe boasts a mix of gentle and challenging runs, catering to both novice and experienced skiers. The resort's compact size allows for a more intimate and relaxed skiing experience.

The ski area of Koralpe is in the Austrian Alps at an altitude of 1,550m, with 25km of marked runs.

Koralpe is part of the Lavanttal ski area with access to 8 marked pistes, served by a total of 24 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Koralpe itself (25km of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Lavanttal ski resorts of Hebalm, Klippitztörl and Weinebene.

The ski resort itself is at 1,550m, so skiing or boarding back to the resort is usually possible. With ski lifts as high as 2,050m, snow cover is generally reliable.

Skiing

Koralpe features a ski area that spans approximately 40 kilometers, with elevations reaching up to 2,100 meters. Notable pistes include the challenging black run 'Schwarze Piste' and the well-loved blue run 'Familienpiste', serviced by the modern Koralpe and Koralpen lifts.

Snowboarding

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Koralpe is Klagenfurt, 73 minutes drive away.

Graz, Ljubljana and Trieste airports are all within three hours drive.

Koralpe is easily accessible via the main airports in Graz and Klagenfurt, both approximately 1.5 hours away by car. Well-maintained roads lead directly to the resort, making travel hassle-free.
