Königsleiten is a charming ski resort located in the Zillertal Arena. It offers a blend of excellent slopes and stunning alpine scenery.

Königsleiten is part of the Zillertal Arena ski area with access to 143 marked pistes, served by a total of 112 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Königsleiten itself (160km of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Zillertal Arena ski resorts of Gerlos and Zell am Ziller. Königsleiten is directly linked by Ski Lift to the ski areas of Gerlos.
The ski resort itself is at 1,600m, so skiing or boarding back to the resort is usually possible. With ski lifts as high as 2,300m, snow cover is generally reliable.

Skiing
The resort is situated at an elevation of 1,600 meters, with the highest point reaching 2,500 meters on the Gerlosstein mountain. Notable pistes include the long descent from the Plattenkogel and the challenging black runs, while the Zillertal Arena lift system provides efficient access to all areas.
There are a variety of pistes to suit all levels of skier ability, from Beginner to Expert.

How to get there
By Air
The nearest airport to Königsleiten is Innsbruck Airport, 90 minutes drive away.
Salzburg, Munich, Bolzano and Klagenfurt airports are all within three hours drive.
Königsleiten is easily accessible via major airports in Innsbruck and Salzburg. From there, travelers can take a train or shuttle service directly to the resort.
