Tux - Finkenberg offers a diverse skiing experience in the Zillertal Valley. With excellent snow conditions and stunning alpine scenery, it’s a must-visit for winter sports enthusiasts.

 Summary

The resort boasts over 360 kilometers of slopes, catering to all skill levels. Its high-altitude location ensures reliable snow and breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.

The ski area of Tux - Finkenberg comprises the ski slopes of Finkenberg and Hintertux.

Tux - Finkenberg is within the Zillertal Ski Area, which boasts 489km of downhill pistes, with 91 marked ski runs, served by 177 ski lifts.

The ski area includes 2 Ski Resorts with a combined total of 227km of downhill skiing, with 24 marked pistes, served by a total of 59 ski lifts. The appropriate Lift Pass allows you to ski or snowboard in either of the ski areas of Finkenberg and Hintertux.

With ski lifts as high as 3,250m, skiing and snowboarding is assured throughout the season.

The longest possible descent in Tux - Finkenberg is 12km long and the most difficult run is the 'Haxenbrecker 13a'.

Skiing

Tux - Finkenberg is home to the impressive Hintertux Glacier, featuring slopes that reach elevations of up to 3,250 meters. Key lifts include the Eggalm and the Gletscherbus, with notable pistes like the challenging Black 1 and family-friendly Blue 2.

There are a variety of pistes to suit all levels of skier ability, from Beginner to Expert.

Snowboarding

Snowboarders will enjoy the terrain parks at the Hintertux Glacier, which include the Betterpark with various features for all levels. The parks are well-maintained and provide a great atmosphere for freestyle enthusiasts.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Tux - Finkenberg is Bolzano, 48 minutes drive away.

Innsbruck Airport, Munich, Salzburg, St. Gallen-Altenrhein, Memmingen and Friedrichshafen airports are all within three hours drive.

Bolzano and Innsbruck Airport are just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

Traveling to Tux - Finkenberg is convenient via Innsbruck Airport, approximately 90 kilometers away. From there, take the A12 motorway and follow signs to the Zillertal Valley.
