 Summary

Nestled in the Oisans region, Auris-en-Oisans boasts a fantastic range of pistes that cater to all skill levels. With direct access to the Alpe d'Huez ski area, it provides an exceptional skiing experience surrounded by magnificent mountain scenery.

The ski area of Auris-en-Oisans is in the French Alps at an altitude of 1,600m, with 45km of marked runs.

Auris-en-Oisans is part of the Alpe d’Huez grand domaine Ski area with access to 304 marked pistes, served by a total of 150 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Auris-en-Oisans itself (45km of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Alpe d’Huez grand domaine Ski ski resorts of Alpe d'Huez, Oz-en-Oisans, Vaujany and Villard Reculas.

The ski resort itself is at 1,600m, so skiing or boarding back to the resort is usually possible. With ski lifts as high as 2,200m, snow cover is generally reliable.

Skiing

Auris-en-Oisans features over 250 kilometers of skiable terrain, primarily located within the Grandes Rousses massif. The resort's highest point reaches 2,800 meters, with notable pistes like the 'Auris' and lifts such as the 'DMC' and 'Télévillage' connecting skiers to the expansive network.

There are a variety of pistes to suit all levels of skier ability, from Beginner to Expert.

Snowboarding

Snowboarders will enjoy the terrain park at Auris-en-Oisans, which offers various features for all skill levels. The resort's varied terrain also lends itself well to freeriding opportunities.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Auris-en-Oisans is Grenoble, 100 minutes drive away.

Lyon St-Exupéry, Chambery, Lyon Bron, Annecy, Geneva, Turin Caselle and Saint-Étienne airports are all within three hours drive.

Auris-en-Oisans is easily accessible via Grenoble Airport, approximately 100 km away. From there, a scenic drive through the mountains leads directly to the resort.

The 15 ski lifts are able to uplift 16,700 skiers and snowboarders every hour.

Snow Making

Snow-making is available, on 22km of ski runs, with 33 snow cannons.

When is Auris-en-Oisans open?

Usual opening is early December, and usual closing is Late April.
