Oz-en-Oisans offers stunning alpine scenery and a variety of slopes for all skill levels. This charming resort is situated in the heart of the Grandes Rousses mountain range.

Oz-en-Oisans is a family-friendly ski resort known for its well-groomed pistes and beautiful views. With access to over 250 kilometers of ski runs, it caters to both beginners and advanced skiers alike.

The ski area of Oz-en-Oisans is in the French Alps at an altitude of 1,350m, with 62km of marked runs.

Oz-en-Oisans is part of the Alpe d’Huez grand domaine Ski area with access to 304 marked pistes, served by a total of 150 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Oz-en-Oisans itself (62km of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Alpe d’Huez grand domaine Ski ski resorts of Alpe d'Huez, Auris-en-Oisans, Vaujany and Villard Reculas.

With ski lifts as high as 2,850m, skiing and snowboarding is assured throughout the season.

Skiing

The resort sits at an elevation of 1,350 meters, with peaks reaching up to 3,330 meters. Notable ski areas include the blue runs of La Combe and the challenging black piste, Les Côtes, along with lifts such as the Oz Express and the Poutran Gondola.

There are a variety of pistes to suit all levels of skier ability, from Beginner to Expert.

Snowboarding

Snowboarders can enjoy the dedicated terrain park at Oz-en-Oisans, which features jumps and rails for all abilities. The area also provides ample opportunities for off-piste riding.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Oz-en-Oisans is Grenoble, 56 minutes drive away.

Chambery, Lyon Bron, Lyon St-Exupéry, Annecy, Geneva, Saint-Étienne and Avignon airports are all within three hours drive.

Grenoble is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

To reach Oz-en-Oisans, the nearest major airports are Grenoble Alpes-Isère and Chambéry. From there, it’s recommended to rent a car or use shuttle services for the 1.5 to 2-hour journey to the resort.

The 22 ski lifts are able to uplift 101,500 skiers and snowboarders every hour.

Snow-making is available, on 50km of ski runs, with 700 snow cannons.
