Skiing

Chaillol features two main ski areas, Chaillol 1600 and Chaillol 1800, with elevations reaching up to 1800 meters. Notable pistes include the long, winding runs of La Combe and the challenging descent of Les Écureuils, served by efficient lifts like the Télésiège de Chaillol.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Chaillol is Grenoble, 130 minutes drive away.

Marseille Provence, Chambery, Avignon, Lyon St-Exupéry, Lyon Bron and Annecy airports are all within three hours drive.

The best way to reach Chaillol is by flying into Grenoble Alpes-Isère Airport, approximately 130 kilometers away. From the airport, you can take a train or drive via the A480 and N85 routes, enjoying scenic views along the way.

The 10 ski lifts are able to uplift 5,500 skiers and snowboarders every hour.

Snow-making is available, on 16km of ski runs, with 40 snow cannons.

Aprés Ski

After a day on the slopes, unwind at local favorites like Le Refuge and L'Atelier, where you can enjoy warm drinks and hearty meals. For a lively night out, look for events at Le Galetas, a popular nightclub in the area.
