La Joue du Loup is part of the Dévoluy ski area with access to 100km of downhill skiing, with 120 marked pistes, served by a total of 25 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in La Joue du Loup itself (60 pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Dévoluy ski resort of SuperDévoluy.

With ski lifts as high as 2,500m, snow cover is generally reliable.

Skiing

The resort features over 50 kilometers of ski runs, with elevations reaching up to 2,400 meters. Notable pistes include the blue 'Les Clots' and the challenging red 'Les Combes', serviced by lifts such as the 'Télésiège de la Joue' and the 'Téléski du Pré de l'Escale'.

La Joue du Loup offers good sking, particularly, for Intermediate and Beginner skiers.

Snowboarding

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to La Joue du Loup is Grenoble, 90 minutes drive away.

Chambery, Marseille Provence, Lyon Bron, Lyon St-Exupéry, Avignon, Annecy and Geneva airports are all within three hours drive.

La Joue du Loup is easily accessible via the A51 motorway, with the nearest major airport being Grenoble Alpes-Isère Airport, approximately 140 km away. Regular shuttle services connect the airport to the resort.

The 26 ski lifts are able to uplift 2,250 skiers and snowboarders every hour.

Snow-making is available, on 2km of ski runs, with 8 snow cannons.

Season Dates

When is La Joue du Loup open?

We don't currently have confirmed season dates, but hope to soon.

Usual opening is mid December, and usual closing is Mid April.

NOTE:- Ski area, lift and piste opening is subject to Current Snow Conditions.

Aprés Ski

After a day on the slopes, unwind at the lively 'Le Refuge' bar or enjoy a meal at 'La Table de la Joue'. For nightlife, 'L'Igloo' nightclub offers a vibrant atmosphere to continue the fun.
