In addition to the skiing in Formiguères itself (17 pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Neiges Catalanes ski resorts of Bolquère Pyrénées 2000, Cambre d'Aze, Cerdagne Puigmal, Font Romeu, La Quillane, Les Angles, Porté Puymorens and Puyvalador.
The ski resort itself is at 1,700m, so skiing or boarding back to the resort is usually possible. With ski lifts as high as 2,400m, snow cover is generally reliable.

How to get there
By Air
The nearest airport to Formiguères is Perpignan, 91 minutes drive away.
Carcassonne, Béziers, Barcelona, Toulouse and Girona airports are all within three hours drive.
Formiguères is accessible via the nearest major airport, Perpignan, located about 80 kilometers away. From there, take the D117 road towards the resort for a scenic drive.
