Skiing

Valberg features a peak elevation of 2,032 meters and 30 ski runs for various abilities. Key lifts include the Valberg Express and the Chapelets chairlift, with notable pistes like the blue La Combe and the challenging red Souffleur.

Valberg offers good sking, particularly, for Intermediate and Beginner skiers.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Valberg is Nice, 80 minutes drive away.

Cannes, Turin Cuneo, Saint-Tropez and Toulon airports are all within three hours drive.

Accessing Valberg is convenient, with Nice Côte d'Azur Airport being the nearest major airport, approximately 90 minutes away by car. The resort is well-connected via scenic mountain roads, providing a picturesque journey to your alpine adventure.

The 22 ski lifts are able to uplift 21,000 skiers and snowboarders every hour.

Snow Making

Snow-making is available, on 45km of ski runs, with 350 snow cannons.

Season Dates

When is Valberg open?

We don't currently have confirmed season dates, but hope to soon.

Usual opening is early December, and usual closing is Early April.

NOTE:- Ski area, lift and piste opening is subject to Current Snow Conditions.

Aprés Ski

After a day on the slopes, unwind at La Boussole or Le Cactus, both popular bars offering a cozy atmosphere. For dining, try the local Savoyard cuisine at Restaurant Le Chalet, a perfect ending to your ski day.
