Skiing
Hlíðarfjall features over 23 kilometers of well-maintained slopes and reaches an elevation of 1,000 meters. Notable pistes include the blue-marked Þverfell and the challenging black runs, accessible via the Hlíðarfjall Express and the T-bar lifts.
Hlíðarfjall offers good sking, particularly, for Expert and Beginner skiers.

How to get there
To reach Hlíðarfjall, fly into Akureyri Airport, located about 5 kilometers away. Car rentals or shuttles are available for a quick journey to the resort.
