Cavalese
Cavalese is a picturesque ski resort in the heart of the Dolomites. It offers diverse slopes and stunning mountain views for skiers and snowboarders alike.

Cavalese boasts a variety of ski runs suitable for all levels, with over 100 kilometers of slopes. The resort is part of the larger Val di Fiemme ski area, providing access to a rich skiing experience.
The ski area of Cavalese is in the Italian Dolomites at an altitude of 1,000m, with 70km of marked runs.
Cavalese is part of the Val di Fiemme ski area with access to 120km of downhill skiing, with 123 marked pistes, served by a total of 60 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Cavalese itself (70km of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Val di Fiemme ski resorts of Alpe Cermis, Alpe di Pampeago, Bellamonte - Alpe Lusia, Latemar, Passo Lavazè - Oclini and Passo Rolle.
With ski lifts as high as 2,600m, skiing and snowboarding is assured throughout the season.

Skiing
The ski area of Cavalese features the stunning Lagorai mountain range, with elevations reaching up to 2,388 meters. Notable pistes include the challenging Olimpia and the scenic Fiamme, serviced by efficient lifts such as the Cavalese-Obereggen gondola and the Alpe Cermis lift.
Cavalese offers good sking, particularly, for Intermediate skiers.

How to get there
By Air
The nearest airport to Cavalese is Bolzano, 90 minutes drive away.
Verona, Innsbruck Airport, Brescia, Treviso, Venice, Bergamo, Bologna and Parma airports are all within three hours drive.
To reach Cavalese, the nearest major airport is Bolzano, approximately 40 kilometers away. Alternatively, you can fly into Verona or Treviso and drive approximately two hours to the resort.

Usual opening is late November, and usual closing is Mid April.

Aprés Ski
Cavalese has a vibrant après-ski scene, with popular spots like Bar Pizzeria Fiamme and the lively Caffè della Piazza. For those wanting to dance the night away, the local nightclub, La Roccia, is a favored destination.
