Skiing
Meransen boasts around 50 km of picturesque slopes, primarily serviced by the Gitschberg and Jochtal ski areas. Key lifts include the Gitschberg cable car and the Jochtal gondola, with notable pistes like the red 'Zinseler' and the family-friendly 'Bergbahn' run, reaching elevations up to 2,500 meters.

How to get there
By Air
The nearest airport to Meransen is Bolzano, 59 minutes drive away.
Innsbruck Airport, Verona, Brescia, Salzburg, Munich, Bergamo and St. Gallen-Altenrhein airports are all within three hours drive.
Bolzano and Innsbruck Airport are just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.
To reach Meransen, the nearest major airports are Bolzano and Innsbruck. From these airports, you can take a train or drive to the resort, enjoying scenic views along the way.

When is Meransen open?

Usual opening is early December, and usual closing is Mid April.
