The ski area of Obereggen is in the Italian Dolomites at an altitude of 1,008m.

Obereggen is part of the Dolomiti Superski area with access to 1,294km of downhill skiing, with 668 marked pistes, served by a total of 488 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Obereggen itself (14 pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Dolomiti Superski ski resorts of Alpe di Siusi/Seiser Alm, Alta Badia, Alta Pusteria, Arabba, Bruneck-Kronplatz, Civetta, Cortina d'Ampezzo, Marmolada, Predazzo, San Martino di Castrozza, San Vito di Cadore, Val Gardena, Val di Fassa, Val di Fiemme and Valle Isarco.

With ski lifts as high as 2,500m, snow cover is generally reliable.

The most difficult run is the 'Pala'.

Obereggen enjoys reliable snow conditions with an average depth of up to 200 cm during peak season. Visitors can expect consistent snowfall from December to April, but it's always advisable to check the latest snow reports on J2Ski before heading out.

Skiing

The skiing area is part of the Dolomiti Superski region, reaching an elevation of 2,500 meters. Notable pistes include the challenging 'Piste 7' and the scenic 'Piste 1,' while the modern lifts such as the Oberholz and the Latemar gondola ensure quick access to the slopes.

There are a variety of pistes to suit all levels of skier ability, from Beginner to Expert.

Snowboarding

Snowboarders can enjoy the fun terrain park at Obereggen, which features various jumps and rails suitable for all levels. The park is well-maintained, providing a great space for both beginners and advanced riders to hone their skills.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Obereggen is Bolzano, 32 minutes drive away.

Innsbruck Airport, Verona, Brescia, Bergamo, Venice and Treviso airports are all within three hours drive.

Bolzano is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

Obereggen is easily accessible by car via the A22 motorway, with the nearest major city being Bolzano, approximately 30 km away. Alternatively, reach the resort by train to Bolzano and take a shuttle or bus to the resort.
