Skiing

The resort is situated in the Majella National Park, with the highest peak, Monte Rotondo, reaching 2,100 meters. Key ski areas include Aremogna and Pizzalto, featuring notable pistes like the ‘Pista Verde’ and lifts such as the ‘Cabinovia Aremogna’ and ‘Seggiovia Pizzalto’.

Roccaraso offers good sking, particularly, for Intermediate skiers.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Roccaraso is Pescara, 80 minutes drive away.

Naples, Rome Ciampino, Rome and Ancona airports are all within three hours drive.

Roccaraso is accessible via the nearest major airports in Naples and Rome, with well-connected roads leading to the resort. Car rentals and shuttle services are available for convenient transfers.

Usual opening is mid December, and usual closing is Early April.
