Ål features ski areas including Storefjell and Torpo, with a combined elevation of around 1,200 meters. Notable pistes include the black run 'Kleivmyra' and the popular 'Ålslia', while the efficient 'Toppheisen' lift provides easy access to the mountain's peaks.

Ål offers good sking, particularly, for Intermediate and Beginner skiers.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Ål is Fagernes, 67 minutes drive away.

Oslo airport is also within three hours drive.

Fagernes is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

Ål is easily accessible via the E16 from Oslo, approximately a two-hour drive. The nearest major airport is in Bergen, which is about 2.5 hours away, offering convenient connections for travelers.

The six ski lifts are able to uplift 3,000 skiers and snowboarders every hour.

Snow-making is available, on 8km of ski runs, with 10 snow cannons.

Aprés Ski
