Beckenried features the Klewenalp ski area, boasting around 30 kilometers of slopes at elevations up to 2,000 meters. Key pistes include the long runs from the Klewenalp summit and the efficient lifts like the Klewenalp cable car and the Rigi-Express, ensuring quick access to the mountain.

Beckenried offers good sking, particularly, for Intermediate skiers.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Beckenried is Zurich, 62 minutes drive away.

Basel, Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg, Lugano, Berne, St. Gallen-Altenrhein, Friedrichshafen, Milan Malpensa, Strasbourg and Milan Linate airports are all within three hours drive.

Zurich is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

Beckenried is easily accessible via major transport routes, with Zurich Airport being the closest international option, approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes away by car. Regular train services also connect to the nearby town of Beckenried.
