Skiing

Kronberg boasts a modest elevation of 1,663 meters, with around 15 kilometers of slopes suited for all abilities. Key lifts include the Kronbergbahn and the Walserbähnli, which serve notable pistes like the easy-going Höhemuts and the more challenging Walserspitz.

There is skiing to suit a range of abilities.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Kronberg is St. Gallen-Altenrhein, 41 minutes drive away.

Zurich, Friedrichshafen, Memmingen, Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg, Basel, Innsbruck Airport, Berne, Stuttgart and Lugano airports are all within three hours drive.

St. Gallen-Altenrhein is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

Kronberg is easily accessible via Zurich Airport, approximately 90 kilometers away. From there, take a train to Appenzell, followed by a short bus ride to the resort.
