How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Alpine Meadows is Salt Lake City, 19 minutes drive away.

Reno Tahoe, Sacramento and Chico Muni airports are all within three hours drive.

Reno Tahoe and Salt Lake City are just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

To reach Alpine Meadows, travelers can fly into Reno-Tahoe International Airport, located about 50 miles away. From there, rental cars and shuttles are available for the scenic drive to the resort.

The 12 ski lifts are able to uplift 19,400 skiers and snowboarders every hour.

Snow-making is available, with 94 snow cannons.

Season Dates

When is Alpine Meadows open?

We don't currently have confirmed season dates, but hope to soon.

Usual opening is late November, and usual closing is Late April.

NOTE:- Ski area, lift and piste opening is subject to Current Snow Conditions.

Aprés Ski

For après-ski, visit the 'Alpine Bar' for drinks and live music, or dine at 'The Lodge' for a cozy meal. The resort also features other bars and restaurants to unwind after a day on the slopes.
