Skiing

Arapahoe Basin features several key ski areas, including the main mountain and the Pallavicini area, which is famous for its steep terrain. The summit elevation reaches 13,050 feet, with notable pistes like the East Wall and the Lenawee Mountain area, serviced by lifts such as the Black Mountain Express and the A-Basin's original Lenawee Lift.

Arapahoe Basin offers good sking, particularly, for Expert and Intermediate skiers.

Snowboarding

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Arapahoe Basin is Denver International, 75 minutes drive away.

Vail/Eagle, Steamboat Springs, Yampa Valley, Colorado Springs and Aspen airports are all within three hours drive.

To reach Arapahoe Basin, drive from Denver via I-70 West, taking exit 216 for US-6 East. The resort is approximately a 1.5-hour drive from Denver International Airport, making it easily accessible for visitors.

The seven ski lifts are able to uplift 10,700 skiers and snowboarders every hour.

Season Dates

When is Arapahoe Basin open?

We don't currently have confirmed season dates, but hope to soon.

Usual opening is early November (May open from late October), and usual closing is Late May (Open normally to May or June).

NOTE:- Ski area, lift and piste opening is subject to Current Snow Conditions.
