Skiing

Snowmass features four distinct ski areas: Snowmass Village, Elk Camp, Burnt Mountain, and the Big Burn. With an elevation of 12,510 feet at its summit, the resort offers notable pistes such as the Long Shot and the Big Burn Express lift, providing access to diverse terrain and breathtaking views.

Snowmass offers good sking, particularly, for Intermediate skiers.

Snowboarding

Snowmass is a snowboarder’s paradise with multiple terrain parks, including the Snowmass Terrain Park and the beginner-friendly Fanny Hill Park. These parks offer a range of features to challenge and entertain riders of all levels.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Snowmass is Aspen, 15 minutes drive away.

Vail/Eagle, Grand Junction, Montrose and Steamboat Springs airports are all within three hours drive.

Aspen and Vail/Eagle are just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

To reach Snowmass, fly into Aspen/Pitkin County Airport, which is approximately 10 miles away. Alternatively, you can drive from Denver International Airport, taking I-70 and then Highway 82 for a scenic journey to the resort.

When is Snowmass open?

We don't currently have confirmed season dates, but hope to soon.

Usual opening is late November, and usual closing is Mid April.

NOTE:- Ski area, lift and piste opening is subject to Current Snow Conditions.
