Review of Niseko, Japan

"Deep snow, Birch Trees"

reviewed by Mac *

Really small village good size ski area modern gondolas. Big variety of accomodation and restaurants. good shuttle bus for free, to four close by ski areas with a ski pass in hand. From Chitose airport by Bus or train (15 min drive to Niseko station). ski rental is expensive but tickets food accomodation is good value at 2025 exchange rates the yen is very low. snow falls a lot most days. Prepare to ski in snowy weather. the birch trees are very nice to ski through for off piste skiers. there are a few places to eat. There are a lot of foreigners very popular. Stay away in busy season.

* Advanced, with family, who skis, single visit
