Temple Basin features a ski area with a vertical drop of 500 meters and an elevation of 1,800 meters. Notable pistes include the challenging 'Towers' and the scenic 'Hut Run', serviced by lifts like the 'Temple Basin Chairlift' and the 'Towers T-bar', catering to both beginners and advanced skiers.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Temple Basin is Hokitika, 77 minutes drive away.

Christchurch and Westport airports are all within three hours drive.

To reach Temple Basin, travelers can fly into Christchurch Airport, followed by a scenic drive of approximately 2 hours to Arthur's Pass. From there, access to the resort is straightforward with marked roads leading directly to the ski area.
